There are also other methods and technologies used for vertical and indoor farming includes the precision agriculture or also known as satellite farming, which is a study or farming management that is based on measuring, responding, and observing to intra-field and inter variability in crops; the agriculture robot or shortened as agbot, which is a robot deployed for the purpose of agriculture; the phytoremediation, which refers to the technologies that use plants to clean and purify the air, water and soil that are being contaminated with chemicals; and the CEA or controlled-environment agriculture which is a technological approach toward the production of food. The various advantages and benefits of practicing vertical farming, includes increased of the production of crops, protection from any problems that are weather-related, the ability to conserve our resources, good and healthy impact on the health of the human beings, the ability to halt any extinction of living things, food security, urban growth, sustainability of energy, and for us to be prepared for the future.
